Billed
as “Recycling At Its Best,” the Annual Fall Tag Sale, hosted by Frisbie
Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, will be held Saturday and Sunday, September 8th
and 9th, from 8 AM to 3 PM in
the parking lot of Skyhaven Internal Medicine, located at 235 Rochester Hill Road Skyhaven Airport
“Thanks
to the generous support of people in our community, this event continues to
grow each year,” says Betty Jane Meulenbroek, president of the Auxiliary. “This
year’s two-day event will feature something for everyone ranging from
furniture, Christmas decorations, housewares and garden items to children’s toys, sports equipments, books,
gardening and gently used clothing.”
In
addition, this year’s Tag Sale will also feature a Farmer’s Market, food
vendors and items from the hospital’s gift shop.
“The
money raised from this and other Auxiliary fundraising events throughout the
year are extremely important to continue the programs the Auxiliary supports,”
says Meulenbroek. Proceeds from the event will be used to support patent care
programs at the hospital, including newborn audio screening test, a variety of
patient aid services and annuals scholarships awarded to qualified students
interested in healthcare.
