THE GOVERNOR’S INN & HRCU SET TO HOST BUSINESS AFTER HOURS EVENT

ROCHESTER, N.H. – Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) and The Governor’s Inn recently announced they will be teaming up to host a business after hours event to celebrate their respective landmark anniversaries on Thursday, June 7 (5-7 p.m.) at The Governor’s Inn.

The event, which is not open to the public, is welcome to members of the Dover, Rochester and Somersworth Chambers of Commerce. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages as well as a cash bar will be available to all those in attendance.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, HRCU is one of the fastest growing credit unions in New Hampshire, polishing off a strong 2011 campaign that saw tremendous growth and record levels in assets, deposits and loans. Additionally, growth in membership exceeded the national average and capital reached an all-time high. Despite its growth, HRCU managed to maintain its commitment to the community, donating approximately $38,000 to more than 80 non-profit agencies. HRCU looks to continue these trends, putting an emphasis on its commitment to its members and dedication to the community while not losing sight of the importance of providing stellar service and cutting-edge technology.

As for The Governor’s Inn, it is celebrating its 20th anniversary and since its inception has become regionally recognized for its old world elegance, fine hospitality, welcoming atmosphere, excellent food and quality entertainment. Opening in 1992 as a five-room bed and breakfast, Rochester’s landmark inn has continued to evolve and now includes 20 hotel rooms and two restaurants in its three historical colonial brick buildings. Additionally, the inn’s 10 special event rooms are used for holiday parties, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, business conferences and dinners, as well as retirement and memorial services.
