Service Credit Union President/CEO receives ceremonial baton from Golden Knights


 PORTSMOUTH (July 3, 2012) – The United States Army Golden Knights Black Demonstration Team presented the ceremonial baton to Service Credit Union President/CEO Gordon Simmons at Saturday’s performance of the 2012 Service Credit Union Boston-Portsmouth Air Show.
The Golden Knights, a U.S. Army show parachute team, performed a sky routine, all the while passing a ceremonial baton back and forth between two of the skydivers that was later handed off to Simmons.
After their parachutes landed, the Golden Knights were lined up on the tarmac and were introduced. Each member of the jump team was given a personal introduction and then introduced to their special guest, Simmons.
Service Credit Union was the title sponsor of the 2012 Service Credit Union Boston-Portsmouth Air Show featuring the Golden Knights and the United States Navy Blue Angels. This is the second consecutive year Service Credit Union has been the title sponsor of the air show.
