ROCHESTER – Holy Rosary Credit Union’s Board of Directors and President and CEO Brian Hughes recently granted five $1,000 scholarships and two $500 scholarships to seven local high school graduates.
The $1,000 scholarship recipients were: David Agea, 2012 graduate of Spaulding High School who will attend the University of New Hampshire; Morgan Chalue, 2012 graduate of Dover High School who will attend Boston University; Krystal Ford, 2012 graduate of Noble High School who will attend the University of New England; Erin McGovern, 2012 graduate of Portsmouth Christian Academy who will attend Roanoke College; Brittany Roy, 2012 graduate of Kingswood Regional High School who will attend the University of New Hampshire.
Additionally, HRCU awarded a pair of $500 scholarships from the HRCU Banking Fundamentals Program to Cody Bond and Natalee Stimpson, both graduates of Spaulding High School. Bond and Stimpson will be attending Western New England University and the University of New Hampshire, respectively.
The Banking Fundamentals Program is a college prep level course held at Spaulding High School, initiated by HRCU to help students understand the world of banking and finance.
