Dover Chamber Welcomes Strafford County Homeless Center

DOVER, NH — The Homeless Center of Strafford County became the latest area business to join the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce. A celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony was recently held at the Chamber Visitor Center on Central Avenue in Dover

Since 1998, the Homeless Center for Strafford County (HCSC) has provided safe and supportive seasonal, overnight shelter to women, children and families in Strafford County. A secondary objective of HCSC is to empower the homeless through professional case management, referral services, and transitional housing. The Shelter's commitment goes far beyond simply providing a roof over a family’s head, but strives to provide families with the tools they need to get back on their feet, and into permanent, sustainable housing. For more information on HCSC, including information on how you can help support them, please visit their website at www.homelesscenterforstraffco.org.
