NH Company's Engraved Axes Well Received at FDIC

Laconia, NH – A record-breaking crowd of 29,000 attendees and a prime location allowed NH company Engraving, Awards and Gifts the perfect opportunity to showcase its engraved firefighter axes and award products at the 83rd annual Fire Department Instructors Conference. The Indianapolis, Indiana event drew the largest attendance numbers in its 83 year history, according to event managers. Engraving, Awards & Gifts was attending for the first time, representing its FirefighterAwardsGifts.com division.

The largest event of its kind in North America, FDIC ran from March 21 through March 26, with exhibits on display March 24, 25 and 26. Bob Powers and Nathan Thorsell greeted a steady stream of firefighters from around the country and around the globe, and handed out souvenir fire axe tie tacks designed by the company. Visitors to the booth signed up to win a fully engraved ceremonial firefighter axe and plaque valued at over $600. The winner of the drawing was Robert Haskell, a retired firefighter and Massachusetts Department of Fire Services instructor.

As one of the premier engravers of ceremonial firefighter axes in the country, Engraving, Awards & Gifts provides premium quality engraved ceremonial firefighter axes and awards to fire departments across the nation, and has sold axes to fire departments as far away as Honolulu.
