The Dover Public Library will offer two free Solar Energy Workshops presented by Seacoast Energy Alternatives. The first will be “Solar Hot Water for the Homeowner” on Monday, April 4 at 7pm in the Library Lecture Hall. Solar hot water, from the smallest residential systems to full scale home heating, will be explored. Participants will learn how systems work, what costs are involved, and calculate the return on investment.
The second workshop, “Electricity from the Sun” will be held on Monday, April 18 at 7pm in the Library Lecture Hall. Participants will learn about conventional grid-tied solar electric, battery back-up, and off grid systems. A question and answer period will follow each session.
