Dover, NH (January 20, 2011) Attorney James P. Ball has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property, Business Law, and Civil Litigation practice. Jim is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Jim received his B.A. from Tufts University and his J.D., with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill. At UNC-Chapel Hill, Jim served as a member of the NORTH CAROLINA LAW REVIEW and the NORTH CAROLINA JOURNAL OF LAW & TECHNOLOGY.
Jim has authored numerous publications, including U.S. Supreme Court Denies Certiorari in Mattel Record, Inc., WIGGIN AND DANA INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ADVISORY (June 2003); Supreme Court Holds That Plaintiffs Must Show Actual Dilution to Recover under the Federal Trademark Dilution Act, TERRALEX INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY NEWSLETTER (8th ed. 2003); and 50-STATE SURVEY OF EMPLOYMENT, LIBEL, AND PRIVACY LAW (Libel Defense Resource Center, ed. 2002) (Co-author of CT chapter). Prior to joining T.W. Stevens Law firm, Jim practiced at the law firm Hinckley, Allen, & Snyder LLP.
Attorney Lynne Rocheleau has joined the firm’s Family Law, Real Estate, and Entertainment Law Practice. Attorney Rocheleau is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Maine Bar Association, and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Lynne earned her B.A. from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire and her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Attorney Rocheleau has a strong background in all phases of real estate transactions and is a licensed title agent in New Hampshire, Maine and Florida. Formerly of the law firm FamilyLegal Services, P.C., Lynne is recognized as a compassionate attorney with a focus on family and real estate law. She brings understanding and empathy to what is often an emotionally difficult time for her clients.
