Blue Dolphin Screenprint and Embroidery, owned by brothers Jay and Peter Meyer, has been in business for over 20 years. Working from the fourth floor of the historic Canal Street Mill Building, they have delivered high quality screenprint and embroidery apparel and products to a wide variety of customers, businesses, and companies. Blue Dolphin’s 40 employees work together to provide the very best quality products with a focus on excellent customer service.

Blue Dolphin has been helping their local community for many years, often donating goods and services to non-profits and small charities. When the Director of the Malley Farm Boys Home, Mark Sipple, approached Blue Dolphin regarding fundraising, they recognized this unique and meaningful opportunity for giving back to the Somersworth community. The Malley Farm Boys Home is a non-profit facility that helps teenage boys from 12-18 years old. They offer both long term residence and emergency care and have been in the 1860 farmhouse since 1979.

Blue Dolphin Screenprint and Embroidery made a donation of ten thousand dollars to the Boys Home and also produced and sold T-shirts with the Malley Farm logo at the Somersworth Children’s Festival this June. All the proceeds of the sale went toward the non-profit, raising not only money, but awareness of the Malley Farm Boys Home. Sipple indicated that the money would be used for facility upgrades that have been pushed off for a decade. The roof, septic system, and bathrooms are among the items that need to be replaced. The money would also pay for energy efficiency improvements like high-quality insulation to reduce utility costs.

“We are happy to support Malley Farm,” said Jay Meyer and that he was “excited to have the residents and staff from Malley Farm join them for a tour of their facility- to see how it all works and to gain an appreciation for local industry.” If you are interested in learning more about the Malley Farm Boys Home please visit their website at www.malleyfarm.org or call 603.692.5479 for more information.
