Nationally Recognized Entrepreneur, Artist, CEO, and Civic Leader Participates in College Leadership Speaker Series


Dominic Pangborn to Speak at Great Bay Community College

Portsmouth – Nationally recognized artist and designer Dominic Pangborn will be speaking at Great Bay Community College on Tuesday, October 11th starting at 5:30PM. The event is part of the College’s Leadership Speaker series designed for individuals to meet informally with state, regional and national leaders to hear leadership success stories, individual leadership philosophies and discuss current business issues and trends. The event is free to the public. Registration is required on or before October 4th.

Pangborn, a renowned Asian-American fine artist began his career in the 1970’s. His career encompasses design, fashion and the fine arts and his work is exhibited in museums across the country. As an internationally-recognized and award winning graphic designer, Pangborn opened his firm, Pangborn Design ltd. In 1979 and established his own fashion label, The Pangborn Collection which is sold in stores around the world. Last year, he moved into intellectual property management with Pangborn Technovations, which is working on innovations in several fields, including biotechnology, automation, and computer hardware. As a Korean adoptee brought to America, Pangborn reflects on the opportunities presented to him and in turn gives passionately of his time and talent serving on numerous boards for charities and non-profit organizations. “We are thrilled to have Dominic Pangborn here as part of our series notes Mike Fischer, Director of Student Life for Great Bay. “His success story offers insight into a multi-dimensional career and unique philosophy that our students and the public are sure to benefit from.”
