St. Thomas Aquinas High School Senior Jared Dickie to play football for Saint Anselm College


St. Thomas Aquinas High School Senior Jared Dickie of Rochester, NH recently committed to attend and play football for Saint Anselm College.  With his family, teammates, friends and STA administration on hand, Jared signed his letter of intent on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

Jared was part of an undefeated junior varsity team his sophomore year while also playing varsity.  Jared is a 3-year varsity letter recipient and was a strong contributor to the 2011 undefeated varsity season under first year head coach, Eric Cumba.  The St. Thomas Aquinas varsity football team won the State championship for their division and Jared was named to All State first team offense.   Jared is looking forward to focusing his energy on contributing to the success of the Saint Anselm Hawks.
 
Jared will study in the 3-2 engineering program at Saint Anselm College for the next three years before continuing on to their partner school, the University of Notre Dame, to complete the second half of his education to obtain a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
